REASI, May 7: As a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, District Administration Reasi in association with Jammu cyclists group organized a campaign in which the cyclists drove all the way from Jammu to Reasi thereby sending a message of sanitation and Open defecation free environ in the district.
The group of cyclists halted at Katra and took round over the main road where SDM Katra, ACD Reasi and DySP Katra held small interaction with them and then proceeded towards Reasi town where Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Ravinder Kumar, SSP Tahir Bhat and officers from district administration also took part in the cycling.
After small drive in the market, the cyclists rode back towards Jammu.
Local people and visitors witnessed the event enthusiastically and appreciated this move of district administration which was organized with a view to uplift sanitation practices in the district.
