JAMMU, July 22: To represent the State in the forthcoming 9th National Mountain Bike Championship at Pune in Maharashtra from July 25, the J&K Cycling team has been selected by Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association after J&K State Sports Council conducted screening of the team, here today.
The screening was conducted under the overall supervision of Rajan Sharma, Sports Officer, Jammu in presence of the office bearers of the association including Om Parkash, general secretary, Ravi Salgotra, treasurer, Mushtaq Ahmed, coach and Munish Sharma, Senior Cyclist.
The team:
Senior: Vikesh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Altaf Ganie, Ashiq Hussain, Hilal Ahmed and Abid Hussain.
U-19: Ajay Kumar, Hashim Iftikhar, Ravinder Singh and Mufeed -ul- Zameen.
U-17: Zafar Ahmed and Amir Asad.
U-15: Basit Mehraj
U-13: Aakershait Pathak and Shubam Singh Manhas.
