KARGIL, Aug 5: District Police Kargil organized a cycling rally to spread awareness among public regarding cleanliness, here today.
The cycling rally was organised to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” with the motto of “Swachh Ladakh, Swasth Ladakh” in collaboration with Ladakh Cycling Association which was flagged off by Superintendent of Police Kargil, Anayat Ali Chowdhary from Conference Hall Baroo.
The rally was culminated at Tourist Facilitation Centre Kargil while passing through main bazaar and circular road. During the rally, the cyclists distributed pamphlets among general public about cleanliness and also shouted slogans to aware the public.
The chief guest urged upon the people to keep the surroundings neat and clean for healthy life.
