Cyclists Umer, Amir, Hilal reach Leh in 22 hours

SRINAGAR, Aug 9: Breaking the record set by cyclists Riyaz Wani and Umer Nabi last year, three cyclists from Kashmir namely Umer Nabi, Amir Ashad and Hilal Sofi covered the distance from Srinagar to Leh in just 22 hours and 9 minutes. The Riders of 3000 km High Altitude Cycling, Padel for Ahad Hotels & Resorts covered the distance in just over 22 hours. The previous record was held by Riyaz Wani and Umer Nabi with the timing of 24 hours 16 minutes and 15 seconds during the Padel for Khyber Srinagar to Leh. The event was organized by JK Spirits Development Association and JK Mountain Biking Association and sponsored by Ahad Hotels and Resorts, TCI Max, Pride Continental, Shangloo Travels, CNE Tours and JK Tourism.
