JAMMU, Oct 4: Dealers Association Electronic Weighing Machines (DAEWM) held general body meeting under the chairmanship of its president Vinod Kumar Verma.
While speaking, Verma asked the gathering to work on the rules and regulation as prescribed by Legal Metrology Department (LMD).
“Provide better services to the customers and get the weighing machines passed by the LMD”, he added.
He urged the LMD to keep check on the people, who are selling or repairing machines without valid licences and also take strict action against them.
He also urged the Minister Ramzan Choudhary to bring down the stamping prices of the weights.
