KISHTWAR, Dec 1: Daffodil Model Public School celebrated Annual Day cum Prize Distribution function, which was attended by faculty members, students and their parents.
On the occasion, Director Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu Prof Shohab Inayat Malik was the chief guest, who while speaking, apprised that students are the builders of the nation so moral education be given to the students so that they could contribute for the nation in future. The Director also said that the students be also given the education of secularism as well as national integration which is the need of the hour.
Principal of the school, Sanjay Kumar Shan in his welcome address threw light on the achievements of the school in academic as well as in extracurricular activities which they achieved during the last three years.
On this occasion students presented cultural items which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Later, Prof Malik distributed medals among the meritorious students of the school.
Among others present were Dr Kuldeep Kumar, Asstt Prof Kishtwar Campus, Mubasher Hussain, Liaison Officer, Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu, Deepu Badyal and Anil Kumar Parihar.
