JAMMU, Dec 15: Daffodils Care Convent Play Way School celebrated its first Annual Day with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Suraj Prakash Gupta, Superintending Engineer, PDD was the chief guest, whereas Sister Celine, Sister Incharge Primary wing, Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, was the guest of honour.
Principal of the School Shikha Puri presented the welcome address and also read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
Various colourful items were presented by the little Daffodilians highlighting the theme “Bachpan-The Memories of tomorrow”. Children recited mantras and various poems. The tiny ones also danced to the tunes of various rhymes and songs.
The highlight of the show was the Audio visual Power Point Presentation, where the parents enjoyed a glimpse of all the activities which their children had done throughout the year.
Later, Suraj Prakash Gupta and Sister Celine presented mementoes to the students, who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities.
