JAMMU, Feb 12: Daily Wagers team of SKUAST-J emerged winner of the ongoing T-10 Vice Chancellor Cricket Tournament and lifted title trophy, played at Main Campus Chatha, here today.
SKUAST- J Vice Chancellor Dr JP Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed trophies among the winning and 1st runner-up teams.
While speaking on the occasion, the VC emphasized on the importance of sports to develop leadership qualities among the participants.
Other dignitaries present were Dean FBSc, Dr Seh Rizvi, Director Education Dr SK Gupta, Dean Students Welfare Dr Rajesh Katoch and President Teaching Association Dr Vikas Sharma.
The tournament was organised under the supervision of members of organising committee including Kewal Raina, Niraj Gupta and Divyansh Verma. They thanked the VC and faculty members for sparing their valuable time for boosting the morale of players.
