JAMMU, Dec 3: Daksh Sharma excelled in State Indoor Rowing Championship by clinching two Gold medals, organised under banner of J&K Rowing and Sculling Association at Nigeen Club, Srinagar.
About 13 districts participated in the championship in junior and senior categories of 2000 meters and 500 meter sprint event.
Daksh Sharma son of Lt Col Vivek Sharma represented his home district Jammu in this event in junior category and won Gold medals in both 2000 mtrs and 500 mtrs and brought laurels for the district.
Daksh is a promising sportsperson from the Jammu and Kashmir UT who selected for Khelo-India in Rowing Sport category.
