BHADERWAH, Aug 19: To inspire the rural youth to divert their energy in a positive way, Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with NGO Youth Action Committee (YAC) has organized a two day-long Dangal (wrestling) competition in Bhaderwah.
The wrestling competition in which famous wrestlers from neighboring country Nepal are participating was inaugurated by Commanding Officer 4RR Colonel Yogesh Chauhan in presence of District Forest Officer, Bhaderwah Chander Shekhar, Superintendent of Police Bhaderwah, Vinod Sharma and Veteran social activist Abdul Gaffar Bagban.
The wrestlers of repute who are participating in the two days wrestling competition included, Deva Thapa from Nepal, former Rustam-e-Hind Reham Ali, Murad Ali, Guddu Pehalwan, Chander Mukhi, Ganju Laati and many others.
