Dark Knights clinches Platinum Premier Cup Season 2

JAMMU, Dec 14: The Platinum Premier Cup Season 2 concluded with an exciting final at MA Stadium, here today, where Dark Knights defeated Terminators by 8 wickets to claim the trophy.
Abdul Samad, the chief guest, and Shubham Khajuria, the guest of honor, graced the occasion and flipped the coin to begin the match. Terminators, winning the toss, opted to bat first and posted a total of 110 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted overs. Akash Ohri top-scored for Terminators with 27 runs, followed by Puneet Gautam with 26 runs. The Dark Knights’ bowlers, led by Rehan who took 3 wickets and Pranav Gupta with 2 wickets, kept the opposition under control throughout the innings.
In response, Dark Knights comfortably chased down the target. Bhanu Gupta played a crucial role in anchoring the innings with 35 runs, while Pranav Gupta contributed a steady 29 runs. After Bhanu’s dismissal, Rakvinder Singh supported Pranav to guide the team to a smooth victory.
Pranav Gupta was named the Best Batsman, scoring 266 runs, the Best Bowler with 15 wickets, and the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament. Jaideep Nayyar earned the Best Fielder award for his 12 dismissals, while Kishan Kashyap was recognized for hitting the most sixes-25 in total.
Bhisham Batra, Founder of Platinum Business and Sports Network, expressed his satisfaction with the tournament, noting that it was highly competitive, and looked forward to an even bigger and better Season 3. The event has undoubtedly raised the bar for regional cricket.
