JAMMU, Nov 26: Maharaja Hari Singh DAV Public School Akhnoor organised Annual inter-house Sports Meet, here today.
Principal Vipin Kumar Sharma declared open the meet by lighting the lamp and explained the importance of sports in the life of the individual. The meet was organised in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tug of War and 100 metres race.
Gulab House emerged winner in Kabaddi, while Ranbir House stood winner in Kho-Kho junior and Gulab House stood winner in senior Kho-Kho. Yuvraj and Samaira Bhagar (Nursery), Aarav Bhagat (LKG), Aarav Sharma (UKG), Manas Singh & Krishika Rajput (1st), Aastik & Khushi (2nd), Arun Kokri & Arushi Rajput (3rd), Shantanu & Mishti (4th) and Sagar & Tanvi Chit (5th) stood winners in 100mtrs race.
The winners were awarded with medals and shields by the Principal in presence of School staff.
