AMRITSAR, July 22: Amandeep Cricket Academy, Amritsar organized Under-19 Premium Cricket League, here.
A total of 7 teams of the region participated in the League.
The final match was played between DAV Senior Secondary School, Hathi Gate, Amritsar and Amandeep Cricket Academy (ACA)-1, Amritsar.
Earlier, DAV won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, DAV scored 163 runs in 40 overs and gave a target of 164 runs to ACA-1.
In reply, ACA-1 could score 117 runs only, thus lost the match by 36 runs. Rahul Kashyap was declared as the man of the series and man of the match, who scored 32 runs and took 3 wickets in 7 overs by giving away just 19 runs.
Dr Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopedic Surgeon, Amandeep Hospital and Dr Shahbaz Singh were the chief guest s on the prize distribution function.
On this occasion, Chief Coach of ACA and former Indian Cricketer Harwinder Singh, Ex Under-19 Indian Team Player Manish Sharma, Lovely Arora and Kamal Chaudhary were also present.
