SRINAGAR, Mar 7: On the 6th day of 23rd All India Police Water Sports Championship 2023-24, eight different events (Men/ Women) were conducted at the Back Lawn of SKICC Srinagar today.
In the Single Scull 500-M event (Men), Om Prakash of Rajasthan Police secured 1st position, whereas, Vikas Manjhi of U.P Police & Pritpal Singh of Punjab Police obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In the Double Scull 500-M event (Men), Karanbir Singh & Lokesh of U.P Police secured 1st position, whereas, Imrat Sen & Gagandeep Singh of SSB & Mohit & Sateesh Kumar of ITBP obtained 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
In Pair 500-M event (Men), Sukhdeep Singh & Adtiya Singh of U.P Police secured 1st position, whereas, Robin Manger & Rohit Kumar of ITBP & Gurjeet Singh & Karamjit Singh of Punjab Police obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In 500-M Men’s Four event, Gopal Thakur, Rohit Sendhav, Vishvjeet Singh & Kuldeep Sendhav of SSB secured 1st position, whereas, Akshay, K Shamsundar Singh, Lovepreet & Karamchand of Assam Rifles & Suryabhan Tanaji Gholap, Dnyaneshwar Ashok Surase, Aniket Vishnu Halade & Santosh Chhagan Kadaleof Maharashtra Police obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In the Single Scull 500-M event (Women), Khushpreet Kaur of CRPF secured 1st position, whereas, Rukmani of SSB & Reena Kumari of Assam Rifles obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In Double Scull 500-M event (Women), Varsha K.B & Khushpreet Kaur of CRPF secured 1st position, whereas, B Anandhi & Reshma Kumari Minz of Assam Rifles & Rukmani & Vindhya Sanket of SSB obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In 500-M pair event (Women), Jharana Hasthi & Ashmita Kerketta of ITBP secured 1st position, whereas, Manisha Kispotta & Annu of SSB & Amritpal Kaur & Sampat Devi of CRPF obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In 500-M Women’s Four event, Harmanpreet, H.Roshan Devi, Ashmita Kerketta & Jharana Hasthi of ITBP secured 1st position, whereas, Pramila Prava Minz, Sanjukta, Manjula Xess & Kamla Lakra of Odisha Police & Anu, Manisha Kispotta, Riya Saini & Deepika Xess obtained 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Tomorrow shall be the final day of 23rd All India Police Water Sports Championship 2023-24 in which remaining events of both Men/ Women shall be conducted at the Back Lawn of SKICC Srinagar.
