Jammu, Oct 1: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Ashiq Hussain and others regarding issuance of job cards to Government employees, students that too minor and dead person under MNREGA Scheme in connivance with revenue officials, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice BS Walia today directed the Vigilance Organization Jammu to file fresh status report.
The counsel appearing for the VOJ submitted that significant progress has been made in investigating the matter, however, having regard to the nature and extent of alleged scam, some more time was required by the investigating agency to conclude the investigation.
While granting time, DB directed VOJ to file fresh status of investigation.
