JAMMU, Aug 14: DBN Amarvilla School Talab Tillo held a function for the academic session 2023-2024 with great pride and dignity at the school’s multi-purpose hall, here today.
Johnny William, former IGP J&K, was the chief guest while Virender Jeet Sigh, Chairman DBN Trust, Gauri Nayar, and Secretary DBN Trust were the special guests on this occasion.
Principal, Ranju Malhotra made the prefect council take the pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities to hold the school motto “Duty Determines Destiny’ in high esteem.  She also apprised guests about the steps taken during the election process and how all the candidates followed them in a much disciplined manner. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by chief guest and the special guest Gauri Nayar.
Johnny William lauded the elected members and advised them to be honest while performing their duties. The chief guest also motivated the newly elected council to remain grounded with high aspirations in life.
The bi-annual E-News letter was also released. Priyanka Koul, editor of the News letter, talked about various achievements of the school and the participation of the DBNites at National and International levels that was shown in the form of a PPT.
