JAMMU, Nov 24: DBN Vidya Mandir Schools in the co-ordination of all its three branches celebrated Annual Day at General Zorawar Singh auditorium, University of Jammu.
On the occasion, Sanjeev Verma Divisional Commissioner Jammu Division who is himself the alumni of this school was the chief guest, while the function was presided over by Chairman Shrimati Devanini Badrinath Educational Trust. Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma, Corporator Neeraj Puri, Chairman and Principal of Schools were also present.
The students of DBN Vidya Mandir, SNS Vidya Mandir and DBN Vidya Mandir Amarvilla presented cultural items depicting culture, tradition and civilization of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Performers attired in the traditional dresses showcased their talents.
The welcome speech was delivered by Principal Amarvilla, Parveena Jha.
Dr Yog Prakash Award was awarded to Professor Ratan Lal Sharma, Retired Principal who is presently Principal of Vishwa Mamta Trust, Sunderbani by Puneet Kour, Principal SNS Vidya Mandir.
Parveena Jha, Principal DBN Amarvilla read the report of the three schools. Sonika Mahajan, Principal DBN Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi also addressed tha gathering.
The function ended with the vote of thanks by Puneet Kour Principal, SNS Vidya Mandir.
