JAMMU, Dec 19: To discuss the arrangements for forthcoming Christmas and New Year Day, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma convened a meeting of the district administration with some leaders of the Christian community.
In the meeting, special instructions were issued for cleanliness of Christian colonies and churches of Jammu besides 24 hour power supply, security arrangements and adequate ration and water supply in these localities.
The DC deputed ADC Rehana Betul to make a round of the Christian Colony, Residency Road, alongwith ERA, NBCC, PHE and JMC staff for ensuring proper arrangements there.
Christian leaders, including S M Gill, Waris Gill, Rev Shokat Peter, Rev Udhay Singh, Rev Kurikose and Thomas Khokar took part in the meeting.
