DC orders probe as CAPD ration found burnt

MENDHAR, Aug 19: Deputy Commissioner Poonch M H Malik today ordered inquiry after a large quantity of rotten CAPD ration was found burnt on the road side here this morning.
The locals of the area and a former Minister Nissar Khan residing nearby, moved to the area. It was discovered that from the nearby CAPD stores, the staff threw bags of rotten bags of Atta and rice and then set the bags on fire on Dak Bungalow- Gohlad road. With this, there was foul smell in the area . Police party led by SDPO Shahid Nahim also arrived there but the local CAPD staff including TSO Mohd Zamir expressed ignorance over the matter. AD CAPD Poonch Mohd Nasim said that he was not aware.
DC Poonch, M H Malik who came to know about the matter through public said that he has ordered an inquiry into the matter. He asked SDM Mendhar to hold probe and submit report within 7 seven days.
