All India 8th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship

DODA, May 16: Durga Cricket Club (DCC) Ramban outplayed Madhya Pradesh Cricket Club (MPCC) by 25 runs in the ongoing All India 8th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium, here.
The tournament, which is being held in the memory of Gufran, son of Doda based senior cricketer, is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank.
Earlier, the toss was won by DCC Ramban which opted to bat first and scored a total of 119 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Charan Singh was the highest scorer who scored 41 runs while Sanjay Singh contributed 19 runs to the total. For MPCC, Rajnesh took 3 wickets, while Anirodh 2.
In reply, MPCC collapsed at 94 runs in 17 overs, and thus lost the match by 25 runs. Touseef Faridi was the top scorer with 38 runs, while Anirodh chipped in 10 runs. From DCC Ramban, Vikram and Sunit Singh shared 2 wickets each. Charan Singh of Durga Cricket Club, Ramban was awarded as man of the match for his brilliant batting performance, who was given trophy by Patron Young Star Cricket Club Doda Manzoor Ahmed Batt.
The match was officiated by Dharmesh Bhardwaj and Tarun Kapoor as umpires, while Dheerendra Singh acted as scorer.
