Bhaderwah, Aug 16: In an effort to redress the grievances of the people living in far flung areas of Bhaderwah at their doorsteps, District Development Commissioner, Dr. Sagar D Doifode, today convened a public grievances redressal camp at village Mathola of tehsil Bhaderwah.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, BDO Phulail Singh, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Sarpanchs and Panchs besides other district officers were present.
The participants projected various issues and demands including MGNREGA payments, macadamization of roads, construction of link roads, up gradation of schools, adequate teaching and non-teaching staff in various schools, augmentation of existing water supply schemes, improvement of electric supply including installation of transformers and electric poles, solar lights etc.
DDC issued on spot instructions to the concerned officers to look into the public issues for an early redressal. He assured the people that solar lights issue shall be addressed shortly.
DDC directed the BDO to release the pending installments of PMAY houses of the registered beneficiaries without any fail. He directed the ZEO to demarcate the land of Shankoja school building within 7 days and report ADC Bhaderwah in this regard.
