REASI, Nov 16: To discuss and approve the rent of private buildings occupied by various departments in the district, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi (District Collector) Sushma Chauhan today convened a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee here today.
As many as 28 cases pertaining to mainly Police, Handicrafts, Education, Social Welfare and Co-operative Departments were taken up and rent rates of the recommended cases were approved by the Committee.
The representatives of the indenting departments have been directed to immediately release the rent approved by the Committee in favour of the owners of the buildings and furnish compliance report to District Collector’s office within 15 days.
This is second time in this year that the Rent Assessment Committee meeting has been convened and pending cases have been cleared. The Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) Department have been directed to furnish the assessment of the pending cases within one month.
SP Reasi, Sujit Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Shiv Kumar Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Sattar, Executive Engineer PWD(R&B), Reasi / Mahore and officers of the concerned departments were also present in the meeting.
