DDC reviews implementation of 100 Point Prog through virtual mode

RAJOURI, Apr 17: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today reviewed the implementation of 100 point program (indicators) rolled out by J&K Government under Gram Swaraj Abhiyan here in a meeting of the concerned officers held through virtual mode.
The meeting held threadbare discussion on the progress made in the implementation of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in the district.
During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers about the activities being carried out by their departments as a part of the program in the district who in turn briefed about the same.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to make dedicated efforts to cover maximum people under the welfare schemes being implemented by their respective departments on mission mode basis during the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.
Highlighting the objective of the campaign, he said that campaign aims to promote social harmony, spread awareness about pro-poor initiatives of government, reach out to poor households to enroll them as also to obtain their feedback on various welfare programmes.
While stressing on maintaining close coordination and synergy among line departments, the Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to work in tandem for grand success of the Abhiyan in the district.
Directing the officers to ensure that the awareness camps for the implementation of 100 point programme are conducted in hassle free manner, he also instructed them to pay regular visits to the awareness camps and monitor the activities being carried out in the camps on a daily basis.
He also called upon officers to work towards achieving the best possible outcomes during the Gram Swaraj Month and ensure that the fixed targets are achieved well before the end of the program in the district.
