DODA, Sept 25: District Development Commissioner, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, today reviewed progress on various road projects being executed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in Sub division Thathri and Gandoh.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kaiser Ahmad Bhawani, Joint Director, Parshotam Kumar, Executive Engineer PMGSY, AD Planning and other concerned officers.
The DDC expressed concern over delay in completion of some projects and directed the PMGSY officers to strictly adhere to the project specifications and complete the work within stipulated time frame.
While taking a detailed review of scheme wise progress, the DDC directed the officers to review the pending projects for want of any clearance and get the issues disposed of so as to complete these projects at the earliest.
DDC directed the Executive Engineer PMGSY to coordinate with concerned authorities and settle all the pending land acquisition cases, forest clearances for early completion of sanctioned roads.
DDC also interacted with the contractors and motivated them to complete all their tenders under fixed timeline and assured them that every possible help will be extended to them by the administration to achieve the set targets.
