JAMMU, Nov 20: Fulfilling the pending demand of people of Gargal, BJP senior leader and DDC member Suresh Sharma started the work of black topping of Barui-Gargal road here today.
Addressing to the locals, Sharma said that the road was in bad condition for a long time and people were facing lot of difficulties while passing through this stretch.
“The efforts are on to connect every village and locality with a pucca road and in coming days, construction work of many roads in panchayat Barui and Kandi will be completed.”
The villagers thanked the DDC member Suresh Sharma.
Among others who were present on the occasion, included, BDC Sushma Devi, Sarpanch Rashpal Sharma, Nain Sarpanch Om Parkash, former Sarpanch Vrindaban, Anil Bhagat, Kamal Verma, Girdhari Lal and Parveen Kumar.
