UDHAMPUR, July 30: Following a written complaint to the Deputy Commission, the existing Government ration dealer at village Charat in Chenani tehsil, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect.
The said ration dealer, namely Ravi Kumar, had not distributed ration to the rationed people of Charat village for the last more than six months.
A complaint in this regard was made by the villagers to DC Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar, who directed the Assistant Director FCS&CA Department, Udhampur, to take strict action and inquire into the matter.
On the direction of DC, the Assistant Director today issued order for immediate suspension of the said ration dealer and also directed Tehsil Supply Officer Chenani, Mohd Wasim to explain why the ration for the last more than six months was not distributed by the dealer Ravi Kumar to rationees of Sale Centre Charat.
The TSO Chenani has been directed to submit a detailed report in this matter within two days for initiating further action in this regard, reads the order.
Meanwhile, as per the order, the rationed population of Sale Centre Charat has been temporarily attached with adjoining Dealer of Sale Center Seuna/ Satyalta, namely Kaka Ram, who shall make distribution of ration to them at the centre place of village Charat.
