JAMMU, Sept 24: On the eleventh day of ongoing ‘Display Your Talent-2015-16’ organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, events of Debate, Clay Modeling and Instillation were conducted at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
Prof. NK Tripathi was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Pankaj Srivastava, Associate Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Anupama Vohra, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, and other faculty members and officers of University of Jammu were present on the occasion.
In Debate, Shivika Thakur from Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Sahil Mehta from Department of Economics, University of Jammu and Rabyia Snober from The Law School, University of Jammu were declared first, second and third respectively. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Seerat from GCW, Gandhi Nagar and Abhinav R. Salgotra from GGM Science College. The team of GCW, Gandhi Nagar was declared the best team. Prof. Deepshikha Kotwal, Jagdish Chander and Anubhav Mathur were the Judges and Dr Garima Gupta was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
In Clay Modeling, Jigmat Dadul and Trishla Kumari from Institute of Music and Fine Arts and Richa Sharma from Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar stood first, second and third respectively. Certificate of Merit was awarded to Himanshu Sharma from Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu. and Dr. Savita Nayyar was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
In Instillation, the team of Jigmat Dadul and Trishla Kumari from Institute of Music and Fine Arts stood first, Rabyia Snober and Suhaib Salman from The Law School, University of Jammu bagged second spot and Mehak from Govt. MAM College claimed third place. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Sarvodya Tandon and Sachin from GCET, Jammu. Dr. Madhulika Singh was the Teacher In-Charge of the event.
Jagpal S. Bandral, Amarjeet Singh and Vikas Dogra were the Judges of both the events of Fine Arts.
The event was coordinated by Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor) and Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer). Suneedhi Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Archana Sharma, Darpendeep Kaur, Abhishek Sharma, Nirupama Jamwal, Anshul Gupta, Hemant Magotra and Kamini did the Hall Management.
