BATOTE, Apr 21: A debate competition was organized by Range Police Hqrs Batote, under Civic Action Programme at University Campus, Bhaderwah.
The topic of the debate was ‘Indian police should continue to be as it is at present’.
The competition was organized under the supervision of Nisar Ahmed, DIG, DKR Range Hqrs, Batote, Zahid Naseeb Manhas, SSP Doda and Amit Bhasin, ASP Bhaderwah.
Twelve participants of University Campus Bhaderwah participated and delivered their lectures on the topic.
The participants highlighted various aspects of Police and suggested many suitable measures for the improvement of present police system.
According to the organizers, the main objective of organizing the event was to bridge the gap between police and public, besides channelizing the energy of youth in right direction.
Top four positions went to Rupika Chandail, Wajid Aziz, Meenakshi and Rafia Sofi, who were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2500, 2000, 1500 and 1000 respectively.
The competition was judged by Ranbir Singh Manhas, Sajjad Ahmed Khan, SDPO Bhaderwah and Preeti Rajput of University Campus Bhaderwah.
