This year, the pitiable condition of Jammu roads especially in the old city areas and even of the National highway has beaten all records of apathy and recklessness of authorities concerned. It is shocking that deep ditches which could turn turtle most of the vehicles if the drivers would not take abundant caution and exercise utmost care. One such horrible ditch which could be called a shallow well is near the chowk going towards the Trikuta building and the bus stand. This horrible one and others on this road are there for more than a month now.
How many unware scooterists and other vehicle drivers must have damaged their vehicles and injured themselves can be visualized. The same pitiable condition of the National Highway is there near the busiest Ambphalla Chowk. Now rains too have taken our leave for a few months but no repairs are undertaken. At least for the sake of VVIPs let this road be made trouble free and motorable.
