JAMMU, Dec 24: Renowned classical dance performer Nrityashree Deepak Dutta has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir as he was conferred with prestigious Natraj Ratan Award for his outstanding contribution in the field of Performing Arts (Classical Dance).
Son of Shashi and Vinod Dutta, Deepak received the award in a function organized by Natraj Art Club at New Delhi.
In this event, Nrityashree Deepak Dutta performed “Mohae Rang Do Lal” conceptualized by Pt Birju Maharaj which was highly applauded by the audience.
Apart from Nrityashree Deepak Dutta, the Natraj Ratan Award was also presented to Rahul Makin (media), Kavita Kumar (social activist), Mohammad Rahat (music vocal) and Sandeep Yadav (music instrumental).
The award was presented to Nrityashree Deepak Dutta and other recipients by Lion Gulfam, Film/ Video Album Producer, Patron Natraj Art and Famous Industrialist, RK Sharma, Chairman and Renowned Social Activist, Lucky Kashyap, Art Director and Director Natraj Art Club and Ajay Saxena, Famous Animation Director.
In his speech, Nrityashree Deepak Dutta dedicated the award to his State.
