JAMMU, Sept 11: Deepak Singh of Army Public School (APS) Domana clinched Under-19 boys triple jump gold in the Boys Inter-School Athletic competition of Jammu District which concluded at University Grounds, here today.
Rakesh Singh of MHAC Nagbani and Sanjeev Kumar of HSS Pallanwala claimed silver and bronze medals in this event respectively.
The competitions were held under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, DYSSO Jammu.
Among others present on the occasion were ZPEO’s, Sarita Pandha, Jeet Singh, Ram Kumar and Sher Singh.
Meanwhile, in Under-17 boys triple jump,Kajal of MHAC Nagbani won gold, while Vivasvan of DBN claimed silver and the bronze went to Rakesh of Oriential Academy.
200 Mtr U-17 boys: Vivasvan of DBN, gold; Kajal Singh of MHAC Nagbani, silver and Sunil Kumar of GHS Channi Himmat, bronze.
200 Mtr U-19boys: Rakesh Singh of MHAC Nagbani, gold; Avinash of SD Memorial Kot Bhalwal, silver and Satinder of Banyan International, bronze.
200 Mtr U-14 boys: Sagar of APS Domana, gold; Sahil Kumar of GMS Sohagani, silver and Sajjad of GHS Sagoon, bronze.
Relay 4×400 Mtr U-19 boys: BSF Paloura, gold; SRML, silver and MHAC Nagbani, bronze
Relay 4×100 Mtr U-14 boys: KB Public School, gold; MHAC Nagbani, silver and Banyan International, bronze.
Relay 4×100 Mtr u-17 boys: BSF Paloura, gold; MHAC Nagbani, silver and KB Public School, bronze.
Relay 4×100 Mtr U-19 boys: BSF Paloura, gold; APS Domana, silver and APS Kalu Chak, bronze.
The events were officiated by Chamel Singh, Nirmal Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Ram Murti, Pavitar Singh, Hardut Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Anita Bhat, Chanderveer Singh, Rohit Gupta, Vishal Bharti, Vaneet Pangotra, Satika and Harpreet Bhalla.
