Defeat divisive forces for development: Madan

SAMBA, Apr 2: Sitting Member Parliament and Congress candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Madan Lal Sharma today cautioned the people to defeat divisive and communal forces for the development of the country.
Addressing series of public meetings in Vijaypur and Samba villages and road show on the highway today, Madan Lal Sharma said that divisive and communal forces will not allow peace and development in the region. Therefore, people must give them a befitting reply. He appealed the people to defeat the communal and divisive forces for the development and ensure victory of Congress Party.
Mr Sharma said that it has been for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir that Coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah has given its due share to the Jammu region and the area has seen the light of many new projects related to tourism, education, health, sanitation, road connectivity etc. He claimed that Congress and NC would win all the seats in the State.
He pointed out that Congress led UPA regime has passed many people friendly bills like Right to Food, Right to Education, Right to Information and new bill Right to Health will be introduced by the UPA if it comes to power again. Schemes like MNREGA, NRHM, SSA, RGGVY etc have helped the people of the country in big way. He asked the people to support Congress for ensuring better development in the State.
