JAMMU, Dec 10: A delegation of J&K ITI United Front led by its president, Nazir Ahmed Molvi met Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma, Director Technical Education J&K and discussed their long pending demands.
These demands included placement of technical/ministerial staff, finalization of recruitment rules, holding of DPC meetings, auction of old machinery and equipments.
Other trade union members present in the meeting were Altaf Ahmed Dar, Advisor; Naresh Sharma, Vice President; Mubasher Ahmed, Secretary (Kashmir); Karan Singh, General Secretary (Jammu) and Abul Hamid Wani, Executive Member (Pulwama).
A handout stated that after hearing the delegation the Director asked the concerned quarters to redress the issues of the employees at an earliest.
