JAMMU, May 30: A delegation of ex-servicemen of J&K (UT) today met Director Rajya Sainik Board Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan and handedover memorandum on violation of SO/361 dated 20 Oct 2021 by JKSSB.
The above SO vide Explaination II states that “An Exservicemen can avail the benefit of horizontal reservation in Government job only once”.
JKSSB also entertained those ESM candidates who had already availed the benefit of horizontal reservation for Panchayat Account Assistant/Class IV and other Government jobs in J&K (UT).
The aggrieved ex-servicemen demanded the removal of the names of those exservicemen from the shortlisted candidates of Finance Account Assistant, so that justice is done to eligible and deserving ESM candidates.
