Delhi defeats J&K by 35 runs

JAMMU, Nov 25: Delhi defeated Jammu and Kashmir by 35 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy at Wankhede Stadium in Maharashtra today.
Delhi set a competitive total of 161/5 in 20 overs, thanks to Himmat Singh’s unbeaten 71 off 46 balls, which included 6 fours and 3 sixes. Mayank Rawat contributed a quick 29 runs, and Yash Dhull added 27. J&K bowlers Yudhvir Singh, Rasikh Salam, Irfan Ul Haq, and Abid Mushtaq claimed one wicket each.
In reply, J&K fell short, scoring 126 runs in 19.4 overs. Skipper Paras Dogra was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Shubham Khajuria made 29. Yudhvir Singh (14) and Abdul Samad (10) were other notable contributors. Delhi’s bowlers dominated, with Harsh Yadhav taking 3 wickets, and Ishant Sharma, Simranjeet Singh, and Prince Yadav claiming 2 wickets each to secure the win for Delhi.
