Delhi wrestler lifts 10th Hut-Parthal Dangal title 2024

REASI, May 27: Wrestler Vinay, Patha ustad Sintu, Akhara Malhoti (Delhi) defeated wrestler Benia Min of J&K Police and lifted 10th Hut-Parthal Dangal title-2024 here today. Dangal was organized by Hut-Parthal Dangal Committee in Association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of ex-Sarpanch Rattan Singh and Deepak Wazir.
The winning wrestler was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 70,000, while the runner-up wrestler got Rs 50,000. 124 renowned wrestlers from Delhi, Haryana, UP, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K-UT participated in the one day long famous and historic Vishal Dangal which was witnessed by a large gathering of nearly 10,000 people of Reasi, Katra, Jammu and Udhampur.
Tehsildar Katra Jatinder Singh was the chief guest on the occasion who witnessed the Dangal and encouraged the wrestlers who participated in the event. President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function.
BJP District President Reasi Rohit Dubey, BDC Chairman Katra Sham Lal Bhagat, Advocate Pawan Dev Singh and others were guests of honour on the occasion. 62 bouts were played in the Dangal and an amount of Rs 4,75,000 was distributed in the shape of cash prizes among the wrestlers by the dignitaries.
The bout was officiated by Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Deepak Wazir, Sat Paul Verma, Lochan Singh, Raj Singh and Sunny Sharma (Airtel). Pritam Singh Wazir contributed the cash prize of first main malli, Dina Nath contractor contributed Rs. 21,000 and Rohit Dubey Rs 11,000 and Rattan Singh (ex-Sarpanch) Rs 11,000 as financial assistance to the organizers.
Second malli main bout was won by Ishaq Ahmed (Lallu) of J&K Police who defeated Neeru Gujjar of BSF Chandigarh. Winner Ishaq Ahmed was cash awarded with Rs 31,000 while runner-up Neeru got Rs 20,000. Third malli bout was won by Dillar Khan of J&K Police who defeated Shakti of Ghaziabad (UP), Rs 20,000 was awarded to winner Dillar Khan, while runner-up got Rs 15,000. Fourth bout was won by Nadeem of Doda of J&K Police who defeated Usman of Mathura (UP).
