JAMMU, Sept 22: In continuation to its efforts for upliftment of local youths of the area, by providing an opportunity to showcase their talent and acquire a level of self-confidence, Rashtriya Rifles, Battlion under Delta Force organized a volleyball tournament at Bhala, today.
A total of five teams participated in the above event, which included Doda Police, Saruntha, Malothi, Salipura and Pranu.
The final match was played between Doda Police and Saruntha, which was won by Doda Police.
All the teams participated with great zeal and completely mesmerized the audience, who applauded the event and requested for similar events on a larger scale in near future.
The spectators highly praised the Indian Army for the conduct of the Volleyball Competition. Babu Ram Chaudhary, Tehsildar Bhala who was present on the occasion said, “The engagement of youth in these kinds of constructive physical activities will do a good for their overall growth”.
