NEW DELHI, Jan 6: Cable television services firm Den Networks Ltd today appointed Pradeep Parameswaran as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Parameswaran was earlier a Partner in McKinsey & Company where he was a leader of the telecoms, media and Hi Tech (TMT) practice in India and led the Asian operations and technology function for TMT.
“The board of directors has approved the appointment of Pradeep Parameswaran as CEO of the company,” Den said in a filing to the BSE.
In September, the company’s CEO S N Sharma resigned citing personal reasons and the position was lying vacant since then.
Den has an estimated 13 million customers in over 200 cities across 13 states in the country. The company also owns Indian Super league team Delhi Dynamos.
The Den scrip closed at Rs 134.85, down 5.67 per cent, on the BSE. (PTI)
