Despite Sahil’s 6-wkt haul Odisha scores 320 against J&K

JAMMU, Nov 9: Despite outstanding bowling display by speedster Sahil Sharma (6/71), Odisha, rode on splendid hundred by Paramanik and 82 runs by number 9 batsman Alok Sahoo, crafted to 320 runs in 84.2 overs on day-1 of the 4-day Under-25 match at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here today.
Earlier, after losing their 4 wickets for just 40 runs as Sahil wrecked havoc by bowling with super speed, nagging line and teasing length, Odisha sailed on a fabulous knocks by Parmanik and Sahoo to reach to a decent score of 320 runs in their first innings.
For J&K, Sahil Sharma scalped 6 wickets by giving away 71 runs in 20.2 overs, while Syed Sagar, Owais Shah, Wasim Raja and Amir Mehraj claimed one wicket each.
