JAMMU, Aug 20: Government Railway Police (GRP) today restored a teenage girl to her parents and saved her from falling in bad hands.
According to SP Railways Suram Singh, a girl hailing from Nangla, Faridabad, Haryana visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Katra for darshans.
He added that after performing darshans, the girl got detached from her parents and reached Railway Station Jammu by bus.
“The girl was found in disturbed state at Railway Station Jammu by GRP men, who brought her to police station GRP Jammu”, he said, adding that the whereabouts of the girl were obtained and her family members were informed.
SP added that the girl was handed over to her parents after proper documentation under rules.
