JAMMU, June 25: Mahila Morcha JKUT organized a virtual rally (Mahila Samvad) which was inaugurated by JKUT BJP president, Ravinder Raina in presence of president Mahila Morcha JK, Sanjita Dogra, Mahila Morcha Seh- Prabhari. Ex MOS, Priya Sethi,Prabhari Anuradha Charak, Seh Prabhari Veenu Khanna.
National president, Mahila Morcha, Vijaya Rahatkar while addressing the rally from Delhi said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s leadership during the COVID- 19 crisis is laudable, not just within the country, but across the globe,.
Rahatkar said “We salute the spirit and accomplishments of Nari Shakti and today’s women have become inspiration for others., PM Narendra Modi launched various schemes which has special provisions for the empowerment of women like Pradhanmantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Atal Pension Yojana and others,. These schemes have financially empowered to lead a better life and chose their dreams of being entrepreneur’’, she added.
She remembered Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee’s martyrdom as the day of supreme sacrifice which is observed in the country as Ek Nishan, Ek vidhan, Ek pradhan Day. She said the development of J&K is among the priorities of the Modi Government. Vijaya Rahatkar said that India’s fight against Coronavirus will be remembered in the future for how we worked together and served as an example of Cooperative Federalism.
Addressing the virtual rally Ravinder Raina stressed on the greater role of women in the society. He said that BJP is the only political party that has represented the women very fairly in every field and stands for true empowerment of women. He said that this is very clear from the decisive steps taken by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre.
JKUT President ,Mahila Morcha, Sanjita Dogra threw light on the stress given by Modi Government to uplift the status of women irrespective of the background by the launch of numerous women-centric schemes. She also enumerated various public welfare schemes for the women. She said Women empowerment is to empower woman by promoting their participation in all areas.
Ex MOS and National Council Member, Priya Sethi said that many landmark decisions were taken under PM Modi’s leadership and abrogation of Article 370 was one of them. The BJP fulfilled its decade – old promise by abrogating Article 370, Ram Mandir decision, CAA, scrapping of SRO 202.
General Secretary Updesh Andotra and Neha Mahajan conducted the stage and vote of thanks presented by Urvashi Gupta.
The technical aspects of rally were managed by team of BJP, IT and social media department headed by Jaidev Rajwal.
