Srinagar, June 21: Government today said it has already brought places like Purmandal, Utterbehni, Chichi Devi and Baba Sidh Gorian on pilgrimage tourism map of the State.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Devinder Kumar Manyal in Lower House, Minister incharge Tourism said that Directorate of Tourism has executed works like construction of Langar Hall and other allied works at Narsingh Ji Temple, up gradation of existing hut at Mansar, construction of transit camp for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra at Samba and construction of Pilgrimage Circuit at Surinsar-Mansar Road, Samba.
“Through Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority it had executed works like renovation of Saria Building at Utterbehni, Construction of park and Bus Stand near Ram Mandir Utterbehni, development of park near Shiv temple Purmandal along with PCs, bathing ghats at Shiv temple Purmandal etc,” said the Minister.
Further, development of Pilgrimage Circuit and allied facilities at Purmandal under development of Surinsar-Mansar- Utterbehni has been proposed for integrated development in the PM’s Special package, the Minister added.
