JAMMU, Oct 17: Devs Kids World School Kundorian, Katra celebrated its 13th Annual Day function at The Spiritual Growth Centre, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra auditorium.
Krishan Singh, Retd Director Finance was the chief guest, while Surinder Singh BDO was guest of honour and Ajay Gupta, General Secretary Private School Association Jammu Province was special guest.
The function began with lighting a lamp by the chief guest in presence of the special invitees, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary Sports Council J&K and President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association), Sunil Abrol, Manager J&K Bank, Vipan Kumar, Vice President Management Committee Devs Kids World School, Ram Parkash, Ghansara Singh, Laddi Sharma, Jatinder Heera, Ramnik Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Sharda Devi, Principal of host school and Ajay Singh Director of host School.
Meenakshi Mahajan presented welcome address and annual report and highlighted the academic and athletics achievements of the year which includes race, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Wrestling, Cricket and Shooting.
A colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion with the aim to in inculcate the dedication, sincerity and duties of citizens besides folk songs representing local culture and unity in diversity.
The chief guest gave away the prizes to the position holders of 8th class namely Annany Dev Singh and Aryan Sharma and winner of different events.
Anupam Sharma conducted the proceeding of the function, while Sharda Devi presented vote of thanks.
