DF&SS, SRS expresses concern over non-availability of sugar

JAMMU, June 15: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) took out a procession against non-availability of the sugar in the Government ration depots.
The workers of the DF&SS led by its president Ashok Gupta assembled at Press Club, raised slogans against the Government and the CAPD Department and demanded immediate supply of the sugar in the Government rations depots.
While addressing the gathering, Gupta said that Delhi, Punjab and Haryana have implemented the order and started giving sugar to the people but J&K Government is still in the process of forming the committee on this passed order, due to which the people are facing hardships.
He demanded immediate supply of sugar into the Government ration depots vis-à-vis adequate supply of ration including atta, rice and kerosene oil.
Among others who spoke were were Ramesh Gupta, head, district Samba Raj, Raj Singh and Suram Singh.
Meanwhile, Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has also expressed concern over the non availability of sugar at Government ration depots for the last month and has demanded immediate supply of sugar from the State exchequer.
