SRINAGAR, Sept 11 : The Department of Youth Services and Sports under the aegis of School Games Federation of India is hosting under-14 National School Games U-14 Cricket tournament at Srinagar from October 1 to October 6, 2013.
To take stock of arrangements being made for smooth conduct of the Championship, Director General Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Navin Aggarwal, chaired a meeting of officers of the Department and other departments including Police, Civil Administration, School Education in the Conference Hall of Youth Hostel Srinagar. Mr Aggarwal issued instructions to heads of various committees which have been formed for the conduct of the Championship which included Technical, Liaison, Finance, Transport, Lodging & Boarding, Medical, Ceremony, Reception, Control Room, Press and Publicity, Equipment, who briefed him about the requirements/necessities for the championship.
