SRINAGAR, Sept 29: The Department of Youth Services and Sports is hosting National School Games in the discipline of Cricket Under-14 boys at Srinagar from October 1 to October 6, 2013.
In this connection, a meeting under the chairmanship of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Aggarwal was held in the Conference Hall of Youth Hostel, Srinagar, wherein conveners/members of various committees formulated for smooth conduct of the tournament attended and apprised the chair about the arrangements in place and readiness for conduct of the tournament.
DG YSS directed the officers/officials to attend to their duties with fullest responsibility and utmost care for comfortable stay of the participants. He visited different playing venues and lodging centers and issued instructions to officials assigned duties at these places.
The Department conducted orientation of technical officials for fair officiating during the Championship.
