JAMMU, Apr 12: The Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Agarwal will be chairing the meeting of the heads of the recognized Sports Associations on April 15, 2014 at the office of the Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The meeting apart from taking stock of the sports and allied activities, will also discuss the measures to be taken with regard to promotion of sports and games in nooks and corners of the State.
The meeting, which will begin at 11:30 am, will witness the participation of presidents and general secretaries of premier Sports Associations of the State.
The meeting will also discuss the DYSS’s Annual Calendar of Activities to help office bearers of various Associations not to overlap their activities, which in turn will help budding sportspersons to hone their skill via comprehensive scheduling.
The DG Sports will also welcome the suggestions of various sports personalities with regard to development of infrastructure, proper utilization of services of the trained staff and scope in enhancing the standard of domestic activities.
