JAMMU, May 12: Dharam Jagran Samanvay Vibhag is going to organize Maharana Partap Jayanti in Jammu region with enthusiasm.
Convenor of the Dharam Jagran Samanvay Vibhag, Rakesh Kumar, disclosed that various programmes would be organized at district level in Jammu province. Describing Maharana Partap Singh as winner of historic Haldi Ghati war with Mughal king Akbar, Rakesh Kumar said by uniting every section of the society, Maharana Partap Singh also awaken the society from social evils.
Rakesh Kumar, while addressing a press conference said that Maharana Partap before going to war with Akbar, united the whole society which was in the clutches of social evils. He made people aware about the social evils and united each section of the society without considering caste, creed or colour. He knew that without uniting the different section of society, decisive war with Mughals was not possible.
On Maharana Partap Jayanti, shoba yatra would be carried out from Barahmin Sabha Parade on May 14, 2017 at 3 pm which will pass through different bazaars of city and culminate at Jagat Resort where main function has been organised. Tableaus of Kuldev of each community depicting social harmony would be participating in Shobha yatra. Dharam Jagaran Vibhag is organizing various programmes to unite each section of society and make people aware about social evils. Various programmes would be organized on Maharana Partap Jayanti at different areas as being a great warrior and social reformer of the country.
Amar Khashtriya Rajput Sabha President Narayan Singh, Pt Shiv Raina, Sunil Dutt and other officials of the organization were also present in the press conference.
