DHS Doda wins against Mir Lions Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Aug 2: District Health Society Doda team has registered an emphatic victory against Mir Lions Kishtwar by six wickets, in the ongoing 4th Aman Memorial Cricket Tournament organized by District Police at Chowgan Ground, here today.
Earlier after winning the toss, District Health Society Doda opted to bowl first. While batting, Mir Lions team set a low target of 55 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs game. Zakir Mir, Safeer and Bunty scored 14, 8 and 8 runs respectively. From DHS Doda, Jahangir Mehta, Altaf Hussain and Irshad Ahmed claimed two wickets each, followed by Waseem Raja who took one wicket each.
In reply, the DHS Doda managed to chase the stipulated target in just 7.1 overs for the loss of only four wickets. Waseem Raja was the top scorer who scored 11 runs, whereas Zahid Wani added 10 runs to the total. For Mir Lions Kishtwar, Musafir, Safir, Ubaid and Jugnu shared one wicket.
Later on, Altaf Hussain was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance. The match was officiated by Masoom Rashid, Jatinder Singh, Pawan Kumar and Jalil Ahmed.
