RAMBAN, Mar 23: District Information Centre, Ramban today organised a Quiz on “General Knowledge” at Government Boys Middle School Maitra here.
Government Middle School Boys Maitra, Government Girls Middle School Maitra, Government Middle School Govindpura, Golden Era Public School and Vishal Academy Maitra Ramban participated in the competition. Assistant Director Handicrafts and Handloom presided over the function. Students from various adjoining schools also took part in the competition enthusiastically.
Head Master Government School Mitra Tariq Aziz expressed his wish to organise such events in future also.
District Information Officer Ramban distributed prizes among the meritorious. First prize was presented to the Government Middle School Govindpora followed by 2nd Prize which was given to Vishal Academy Maitra and 3rd Prize was claimed by Government Girls Middle School Maitra.
A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the DIC Ramban.
Later, commendation certificates and consolation prizes were given to the participants.
